A New RRR Business Leaders Partnership Begins

Jackson, Wyoming: March 3, 2020 – Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling (ISWR) and the Riverwind Foundation are excited to announce a partnership to begin the next phase of a Teton County’s long-running program on the Road to Zero Waste.   The RRR Business Leaders program is a sustainability training and recognition program for Teton County businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. The ISWR – Riverwind Foundation partnership is building on its previous “Hotshots” initiative that resulted in successfully signing over 100 new RRR BL members in 2017, including businesses, restaurants and events.  The new team of Hotshots will provide sustainability guidance and resources to businesses and organizations during and after 90-minute meetings using the RRR Business Leaders survey.  Areas of sustainability assistance include planning and management, purchasing and waste management, energy efficiency, and more. “The Riverwind Foundation is thrilled to deepen our partnership with Teton County ISWR and further contribute to our community’s efforts to reduce its negative environmental impacts, strengthen its community and cultural support, and increase our economic health and prosperity” says Tim O’Donoghue, Executive Director of the Riverwind Foundation and coordinator of the Jackson Hole & Yellowstone Sustainable Destination Program. “ISWR is excited to expand the partnership […]
